Support Cookie and Britton's Journey Home

In January of 1989, Britton Bocook was in a devastating accident—one which he wasn't expected to survive. The video above is a collection of his success in the years immediately following the accident. His mom, Cookie, devoted her life to helping her son not only survive but thrive.

They moved to Florida a few years after the accident and had a good situation for quite a while. But when Hurricane Ian destroyed their home, it began a series of events that have made it abundantly clear they need to get back to Maryland.

This fundraiser is hoping to raise enough to bring them back home.

As Cookie is getting older, making the necessary preparations for Britton's care is at the top of her list. Maryland is the best place for this to happen.

Britton was one of those kids in high school that everyone loved. He was a theater kid, a popular kid, and just so kind to everyone. The accident took so much away from him, but he is still here, and I'm hoping we can rally around them and give them a lift up.

Hurricane season is here again, and they would love to be out of Florida just as soon as possible. If you can give, even just a small amount, it will go a long way to bringing them back home.
