On Friday, October 29th our mom Luisa "Cookie" Lopez was in a terrible accident as she was struck by a car while crossing the street. Our mom was in the ICU and PCU for 16 days, she sustained brain trauma, internal bleeding, and several broken and shattered bones. She has had multiple surgeries already and still requires additional surgeries. This is going to be a long road to recovery. We are not even sure what her capabilities will be from all this, but we do know that we will do all that we can to help her.
Our mom is a very kind, sweet and loving person she leads with love and cares for her family and friends like no other. Even now she still finds a way to smile through the pain. Now more than ever she needs all the support she can get. This is all unexpected and we are hoping that if anyone can help donate towards her medical expenses and after care or even just pray for her we would truly appreciate all the support we can get.
