Help Launch Our Process-Based Art Studio: A Creative Hub for the North Country
Goal: $11,000
Dear friends, family, fellow creatives, and community members:
We’re thrilled to share a dream that’s becoming reality — but we need your help to make the final leap.
We’re starting a process-based art studio, a dedicated space where community members of all ages and skill levels can come to explore, connect, and create freely — with a focus on the creative process rather than the finished product. Think: paint-splattered aprons, open-ended exploration, access to creative materials, communal tables, and a culture of encouragement over perfection.
This is more than a business — it's a community space for authentic expression, learning, and connecting through art.
Why We're Raising Funds
We’ve found a space to call home for our community studio, centrally located in the heart of Norwood, NY. We’ve already invested much of our own time and resources into getting here, and now we’re asking our community to help bring us across the finish line.
Here’s how your contribution will help:
- $6,000 – Renovations and buildout (studio workspaces, tables & chairs, shelving units)
- $5,000 – Starting inventory of art materials and equipment
Every dollar brings us one step closer to opening our doors and providing accessible, inclusive, process-centered art experiences to our community.
What We’re Offering
This studio will be a space for:
- Art workshops for kids, teens, and adults
- Drop-in studio sessions for spontaneous creativity
- Collaborative art projects and community events
- Birthday party and private events booking
- Creative and educational resources for homeschool families
- Sensory-rich experiences for toddlers (we’ll clean the mess!)
- Community connection and self-expression through creativity
Be Part of Our Story
While we’re launching this studio, it’s not just for us — it’s for you, your kids, your friends, your neighbors. We see this space as a community investment in creativity, wellness, and connection. Whether you're a lifelong artist or picking up a paintbrush for the first time, this studio is a place where the journey matters more than the outcome — where we create together, learn together, and grow together.
If you can give a financial donation, thank you. If you can share this with others who believe in the power of art, thank you. Every little bit helps us get closer to opening a space that we hope will become a second home for many.
We are also happy to accept donations of art supplies (new and gently used), large wood tables, and wood chairs. If you have something to donate, please reach out.
Together, we can create something beautiful for the North Country — a space for the community to follow their own creative process.
Thank you for believing in art, community, and the power of process.
