WHO ARE WE?

Hi everyone! Our names are Morgan Schroff and Olivia Rose Perrone and we are co-producing our short film, Consumed, that we wrote! This is our first time creating a film from scratch and we are incredibly excited to be working with such an amazing team of all women and nonbinary folks to bring our story to life and share it with as many people as possible!

WHAT IS IT?

Consumed is a drama, with an element of sci-fi, that explores the complexities of an experience that so many of us have gone through, internalizing trauma. What happens when hurt people, hurt people? Or when negativity is absorbed with nowhere to be released? Consumed is a metaphor for how trauma can manifest physically in the body, and we explore this through the tumultuous and titillating dynamic of our two main characters, 'Lena' (played by Morgan Schroff), and 'Alexa' (played by Olivia Rose Perrone). There are many beautiful layers to this story, exploring themes of friendship, queerness and suppressed sexuality, manipulation, and breaking free from cycles of trauma. We know this story will resonate with a lot of people, and we are extremely excited to get the ball rolling on this project!

OUR GOAL

We are hoping to raise at least $1,500. These funds will go towards meals and snacks to feed our hardworking and talented cast & crew, reimbursement for travel expenses for the team, fees to submit it for film festivals, and any additional production fees that may arise.
