Hello! I am a senior theatre major at Columbia College and have recently been accepted into a study abroad program to Ireland. I am very excited and grateful for this experience, as Ireland has long held a special place in my heart and the chance to deepen my education in this way is a dream come true. The class occurs in January and will partake in a variety of tours and historic sights that will result in a final project the topic being of our choosing. Through this trip I am looking to gain a deeper understanding of dance and movement through an Irish gaze and look to explore the folkloric aspects of Dance and movement within Ireland. I am raising funds to help with extra costs of the trips including meals, events, tours, dance classes, and other expenses such as bills and last minute needed items .

I have been able to save a little bit of money but it is not enough to indulge in all of the aspects of the study abroad class.

This is the trip of my dreams and I would greatly appreciate any funds that are given.
