Support Connor's Fight Against Brain Cancer

Donation protected
Our sweet 5-year-old Connor Barks was recently diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a rare and aggressive brain cancer. Just 48 hours after hearing the news no parent should ever hear, Connor had to undergo emergency brain surgery.

Amanda and Jeremy have been by his side every second, trying to stay strong for their little boy and for Connor’s siblings, Cayden (7) and Chloe (2). The road ahead will be long — filled with ups and downs with treatments and hospital stays, — but if anyone can fight through this, it’s Connor.

Connor is the brightest light — full of energy, laughter, and love. Watching him go through this has been heartbreaking, but the Barks family continues to hold onto hope.

We’re asking for your help to ease the financial burden of medical bills, childcare, and time away from work so Amanda and Jeremy can focus on what matters most: being there for Connor and their family.

Please consider donating or sharing Connor’s story. Every prayer, kind word, and contribution makes a difference.

With love and gratitude,
Friends of the Barks Family

11/13/25 Update from Jeremy and Amanda

We want to begin by expressing our deepest gratitude for the incredible outpouring of love, prayers, and support our family has received over the past couple of weeks. The messages, meals, donations, and words of encouragement have truly lifted us during a time when strength is sometimes hard to find. Knowing that so many people are standing with us — many we’ve never even met — has been both humbling and deeply comforting.

Conner continues to show remarkable courage and resilience every single day. His recovery from surgery has been steady, and his spirit continues to shine through, reminding us what true strength looks like in the smallest of heroes.

We’ve since learned that his medulloblastoma is believed to be group 3 or 4. Over the next few weeks, we’ll receive additional test results that will help determine the full scope and intensity of his treatment. In the meantime, Conner will have several preparation appointments and procedures as we get ready for the next phase.

He is expected to begin six weeks of daily radiation treatments in early December. After a short break, he will then begin 7 to 10 months of chemotherapy in hopes of fully beating this. It will be a long and difficult road, but we remain anchored in faith and surrounded by the love of family, friends, and community — and that gives us hope.

Please continue to keep Conner in your prayers as he begins this next chapter. We ask for strength for him, wisdom for his doctors, and peace for our family as we walk this journey one day, and one step, at a time.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for being part of Conner’s fight. Your love is what helps carry us through.
