For those of you who do not know my family, I am a single mother with 4 kids -3 that still live at home. Connor is my oldest son, at 12 years old - almost 13 - and he is who we are here for today. Connor was born with a bilateral cleft lip and pallet and has undergone 9 separate surgeries (most of which were on his face, his first at just 3 months old), so he is no stranger to Dr. offices and operating rooms. Even after considering everything my little man has already been through, we could never have prepared ourselves for this most recent discovery by his doctor.

After several days of not feeling well, then graduating to a mild, then to a severe headache, combined with loss of appetite and vomiting, 1 trip to urgent care and 1 trip to the emergency room, all within a 48hr window - CT scans confirmed a large mass in his brain creating so much pressure that he needed to be rushed to Memorial Hermann Children's hospital and admitted for surgery. After 3 major surgeries, including a craniotomy, 58 days at the hospital, moving to 5 different patient rooms and thousands of dollars later, Connor is now home and fully recovering. We have several more surgeries that will need to be done and a pretty long list of follow up visits as well as various imaging requests for the neurologist and ENT, but Connor is doing AMAZING and bouncing back with no signs of any neurological damage.

I have not been able to work full time on top of managing our home AND juggle all the new medical appointments and requirements for Connors care. I created this fundraiser to try and make this very difficult and expensive situation a little less stressful hoping that my cry for help is heard by anyone that is able to donate.
