Hello All,
I am coming to you again looking for further assistance in life. Connor and I have had the hardest year yet, losing our home, me not having gainful employment, we have spent the last 6 months moving between hotels, and fighting to save our belongings. We have both been pushed so hard emotionally with each other as well as others around us and are staying strong together.
In all of this time, I have been recovering from ACL surgery after a broken foot, trying to regain the stamina that I once had to be able to get back to work full-time. It has been day by day for over a year trying to rebuild my strength.
Through all of this, we have kept busy. I have been working as a private contractor, but it has barely kept us afloat and able to keep fighting.
Well, after months of not knowing what is next, over the last two weeks we have been blessed with not just one but two miracles.
1. We were blessed to be leased a condo from one of my clients that took my work ethic as my pass. Considering where my credit is after the eviction, this is a huge risk for them, but they believe in us and are genuinely some of the best humans I have encountered, and we are so grateful for them.
2. I start a new job on Dec 30th. For the first time since 2023, I will have a team to be a part of again and grow business and friendships. While still being able to maintain some clients, doing a full-time job will put us on the road to balance again.
The ask, I am DESPERATE to get some financial help to get moved into my new place. It is a 2nd level unit, and I just cannot physically do that anymore. I have always helped whomever move, and to not be able to has been a bit soul-crushing, but I am getting there, and with time I will be strongest. My goal is small to just help get us into this place we were blessed with. This is Connor and I’s Christmas. We don’t have a tree or any presents, but we have each other and the cats in a real home, and no more hotel.
Christmas hasn’t been very big for us for the last several years since we lost Papa John, but for the first time, we feel the spirit again, and it's beautiful. We are so thankful for what we have been blessed with thus far and the support from those around us. We thank you for even reading this, and wish you and yours a Happy Holidays, and thank you for considering helping us during this time of need.
Love,
Connor and Megan
