I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Connie Bolado who recently experienced a traumatic accident while traveling in the Dominican Republic. During her trip, she suffered a severe femur fracture that has completely upended her life. She had to undergo emergency care abroad and is now returning to the U.S. to begin a long and painful road to recovery.

Connie will need intensive medical care, surgery follow-ups, and an extended stay in a rehabilitation center. She will be out of work for at least 3 to 4 months, which means she is facing mounting medical bills, living expenses, and other financial obligations—all without a steady income.

If you know Connie you know she’s one of the most hardworking, generous, and positive people around. She’s always the first to help others, and now she’s the one in need of support.

• Rent and household bills during her recovery
