We knocked on Connie’s door the other day, and the moment she opened it, she shared her story with us. Her strength, faith, and love for her daughter were overwhelming.
In 2023, Connie was diagnosed with a severe iron deficiency that completely changed her life. It became so bad that she couldn’t walk, eat, or even breathe properly.
She spent most days sleeping because her body was too weak to function. Eventually, she was hospitalized and had to receive a blood transfusion just to stay alive.
This season has been incredibly hard. Not only has her health declined, but the cost of rent has skyrocketed. Because of that, Connie is now facing eviction and needs a safe place to live — not just for herself, but for her daughter. She told us how difficult it’s been trying to find somewhere affordable while battling such serious health issues.
What broke us even more is that Connie has been a hardworking woman her whole life. She worked long, exhausting hours as a caregiver — spending her days caring for others, lifting others, and supporting people in their most vulnerable moments.
She’s a beneficiary of this so 100% of funds will go to her. Please note/ due to travel commitments there will not be a part 2 of this video!
