Support Connie Woods' Medical Recovery

Hi, I’m a single mom that has worked since the age of 16 all the way until now. I’m 66 and was recently diagnosed with two major medical conditions, which my oncologist says were caused by chemo. Last month, I was diagnosed with early stages of leukemia and I started chemo. Also, the hospital diagnosed me with lung problems, due to chemo. Thankfully, most of these conditions will be treatable, but for the foreseeable future, I have to take an extended medical leave from my 25+ year position as an Admin. Asst. at a grade school office. I also had to quit my second evening/weekend job at a Senior Living facility. I’ll at least be out of work for the remainder of June, all of July & half of August. I do not have any sick or vacation time. I would greatly appreciate any and all donations! I’ve never asked for help before; I’ve always prided myself on being able to take care of myself and my daughter on my own. But all this was definitely unexpected and a shock to my system!
