My brother Conner Schoon and grandfather John Martin were struck by an ambulance on the side of the road Sunday night, killing Papa on impact. My brother was airlifted to Arthur M. Blank Children's Hospital to undergo surgery for internal bleeding. Thankfully, he's in stable condition now but with a long road ahead to recovery.
