Connee Russo has raised a family, worked, and been a part of the Malibu community for over 50 years. At 79 years old, everything she owned, except for a few photographs and important papers that could fit in her car, has now been lost in the fast-moving, catastrophic Palisades fire. She was on a very limited income, and like many in California, had been priced out of fire insurance.
