Late Sunday night, our main cabin sauna caught fire. At 1:30 AM, Michelle got a call from a neighbor and by the time she arrived, the fire department had already extinguished the flames. The brand new, gorgeous sauna is a complete loss.

This has been a heartbreaking blow. Over the last three months, we poured our time, savings, and endless hours of hands-on work into remodeling the sauna. During that time we operated at reduced capacity and lower income so we could focus on getting the space perfect. We were finally ready to welcome everyone back this past week the sauna had just started reaching full temperature, and we were so excited to share the updated space with our community.

Now we’re facing unexpected rebuilding costs, lost equipment, reduced hours for our staff, and reduced income as we navigate the aftermath.
