We spent all day on Sunday 04-04-25 in an emergency vet clinic with our Husky, Conan. He had a huge mass growing on his tail that we didn’t know about because of his thick fur. When I came home from work, there was blood everywhere since the mass had ruptured. We panicked and took him to the emergency vet where we spent all of our spare cash getting him cleaned up and acquiring medications to help him with his pain and potential infection.
Unfortunately, the only course of treatment is total amputation of the tail, which will cost anywhere from $1500-1800. We are exploring low cost surgical center options, but they all have wait lists. In any case, we won’t be able to cover the full cost of the surgery in time.
Though we hate to ask, please consider donating to help us get our fur baby the surgery he needs. With our next two paychecks, we can cover some of the cost but will need at least $800 more.
Thank you for your consideration.
