Hello, I am James Raven. I coach baseball at Compass Midtown High school. I started this program 2 years ago and it has not been without its struggles. Right now, our baseball field is in disrepair. It is completely covered in grass and not playable. Currently, we would have to rent out fields in order to play games and that along with bussing to the game is outside of our yearly budget.

I am hoping to raise 6700 to help fix up our field and give my students a real chance at playing baseball in the future. Athletics are super important for students to give them opportunities to learn commitment and teamwork. I would love to have students join me in the joy of playing baseball. This money would allow us to get a dirt infield, an outfield fence and padding for the backstop.
