Please help me raise funds to support two mindfulness-based community resilience programs for Ukrainian students affected by Russia's war of aggression. I am co-leading these programs in collaboration with psychologists from the Ukrainian Friendship Society and Polissia National University. We will lead one program for Ukrainian middle and high school students displaced to Żyrardów, Poland; the second program will be held at Polissia National University for college students in Zhytomyr, Ukraine. These programs are focused on helping students understand stress and manage it through individual mindfulness-based practices and support from peers and professionals in the community. Students will learn a range of practices including reflective journaling, meditation, breathwork, Taiji, mindful communication, and how to provide peer-support. We are hoping to reach about 40 students with the program with an estimated materials cost of $30 per student. 100% of the funds raised will cover materials cost and shipping for items, such as yoga mats, meditation cushions, blankets, games and journals used in these programs. Purchased materials will remain with the host organizations to support future programs. Every donation will help get us to our goal, no matter how small!
