Emergency Support Community Leader Latonya Goldsby

Latonya Goldsby is the incredible co-lead of Cleveland's Black Lives Matter Chapter, a role she stepped-into when tragedy struck her family, as Tamir Rice is her younger cousin. She has been taking incredible leadership since that time and has built incredible people-powered campaigns for justice for all people impacted by police violence, racism, and poverty. She is a true servant leader, constantly pouring her time and energy into working hard for the community. 

Latonya does all of this because she knows what injustice looks like and she knows what communities need to not only survive, but thrive. And she does this all from her own pocket. 

The last several months have been especially challenging for Latonya, dealing with the passing of her father and the constant struggle of leading community without resource or funding.
