I am raising money in order to fund my campaign for reelection as a Director for North County Fire Protection District, District 4.

Over the past 4 years, I have served as both president and vice-president of the board. Working collaboratively, I have been able to find a way to fund remodels of 3 of our 5 stations, plus a remodel of our administration building, with $3.5 million set aside for the construction of a new Station 4, which sits within my district. I served on the negotiating committee where I was able to help negotiate the most generous contract for our firefighters in recent district history.

We have been able to accomplish all of these enhancements, including retaining our personnel in a competitive industry, and also build robust budget reserves. Our district is well-situated should we experience a downturn in our state and local economy.

Running for local office is expensive. The substantial costs include my candidate statement, design and purchase of yard signs, and design and purchase of door hangers.
