After finding an odd spot/bump on him Saturday, it immediately raised some concern. Today was the vet visit to have it checked out and he has two of these spots, one worse than the other but not as aggressive. He has two mast cell tumors, malignant. With the areas that they are in Dr. Sprinkles believes and is confident they aren’t spreading due to the fatty tissue they are in. As of right now his muscle tissue and everything is good. We will be getting him surgery come the beginning of the year, hopefully by February if I can have enough by then. The surgery will go 2inches in each direction to make sure there are clear margins and it all is taken out, on both sites. One tumor is 13mm while the other is 7mm, so the incisions will be something neither of us are use to. If you could, send us your thoughts and prayers and good vibes.
