Hello, my name is Colton. I am 9 years old and am in the 3rd grade. I recently have been selected to go to Vanderbilt university for a stem program during the summer. This is an elite program. Not very many students are selected but I have been chosen because of my hard work, willingness to learn, and my maturity according to the letter I received. My teacher thinks I have what is required to attend the program. I would really like this opportunity to take the 5 day course and propel my learning over summer break. The majority of the program has to do with S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). The program is called NYLF - National Youth Leadership Forum.
