Life can change without warning.

On February 15th, Colt was hospitalized due to a serious infection that causes abscesses on the spine that required immediate medical care. Those who know Colt know that slowing down is not in his nature. He is hardworking, determined, and deeply dedicated to everything he commits to — especially his business and the people who rely on him.

Colt is the kind of person who shows up. He works long hours without complaint. He treats people with kindness and respect. He is caring, thoughtful, and always willing to go the extra mile for others. He has built his business through persistence, integrity, and an unwavering work ethic.

He is home now — and we are grateful. But recovery did not end at discharge. Through April 17th, Colt will receive intravenous medication at home, with daily nurse visits managing his treatment. Each day is structured around medications, monitoring, and rest. Each day is a reminder that healing cannot be rushed.

The business he poured his heart into does not simply run itself. During his hospitalization and now throughout his recovery, income has been directly impacted while expenses continue. In addition to mounting medical bills, there is real concern about keeping his business stable during this critical time.

To make this even harder, Colt’s family lives out of state. Their love and support are unwavering, but distance limits how much they can physically help during this critical time. Recovery can feel long. It can feel isolating and overwhelming.
