Open Orbit is a student-led project dedicated to making space exploration accessible to the next generation of technologists. Join us in breaking barriers and be a part of this mission!

Who We Are:
Founded by driven undergraduate students in Fort Collins, Colorado, Open Orbit’s focus is to provide the community with access to aerospace education through K-12 STEM workshops, aerospace projects, and connecting undergraduates to industry professionals.

Our vision is to one day launch a Cube Satellite, a small satellite designed for Earth observation. This would provide undergraduates with direct and hands-on access to space technology through developing an aerospace ecosystem in Fort Collins.

Why We Need Your Help:
For Open Orbit to fuel our projects, we require your support to complete the following objectives:
  • Educational Outreach - Obtain materials for hands-on Projects with K-12 students
  • High Altitude Balloon Test - Provide team with practical experience in atmospheric science
  • Democratize Space - Continue Open Orbits’ contribution to open-source technology through our CubeSat

How You Can Help:
  • Donate as much as you’re willing to give - every dollar makes a difference
  • Share the campaign - spread the word and scale our mission
  • Connect us with sponsors and partners whose values align with our mission

Your support is mission critical!
