On Aug 10th, Colombia was hit by a magnitude 7.4 earthquake, the most powerful seismic event to hit Colombia this century.

Over 300 people are dead, thousands are injured, and over a million need humanitarian assistance. In Chocó, the poorest department in Colombia and the closest to the epicenter, landslides have cut off entire riverine communities that aid workers still haven't reached.

After spending such a beautiful week in Colombia, it would be great if our Stanford Class of 2028 could come together to support a country that has welcomed us with open arms.

75% of funds raised will go to Fundacion Plan, which is entirely supporting Chocó, an area of Colombia that is primarily Afro-Caribbean and Indigenous and receiving disproportionately less aid. The remaining 25% will go to the Red Cross
