Colleen Hall, my sister, is facing one of the toughest challenges of her life. She recently underwent major surgery to remove a cancerous, softball-sized tumor from her duodenum. The procedure left her with a 10-inch incision stretching from under her ribs to her bellybutton, and she’s now in the hospital on day five of her recovery. Doctors expect she may be released soon, but her journey is far from over. As a self-employed massage therapist, Colleen will be unable to work for the next 6-13 weeks, and she’s not allowed to lift anything during her recovery. This means she’ll be without her regular income for quite some time, all while facing mounting medical bills and everyday expenses. The funds raised here will go directly toward supporting Colleen’s mortgage, utilities, daily needs, and of course, her medical costs. Colleen’s major surgery and cancer diagnosis is very scary to go through alone, but she is blessed with an incredible community of friends, family, and neighbors. She has always given her love, time, and support to others—helping people heal, sharing her faith, and brightening every room with her smile and laughter. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has already shown support through Venmo, cash, and gift cards—your kindness means the world to Colleen and our family. Now, we have the chance to give back and help Colleen through this difficult time. Your support will allow her to focus on healing, knowing she’s surrounded by love and generosity. Thank you for being part of Colleen’s journey and for helping her return to the vibrant, caring person we all know and love.
