Support for Colleen Baldesi-Sutton and Her Family
We are starting this GoFundMe on behalf of our beloved sister-in-law, Colleen Baldesi-Sutton, who has recently been admitted to SLU Hospital after experiencing severe and sudden mobility issues.
After a series of urgent tests, doctors discovered multiple tumors — in her breast, lymph nodes, lungs, hip joint, and brain. The tumor in her brain is what caused the sudden loss of mobility.
Colleen is the heart of her family. She’s a proud grandmother of four, a devoted wife to her husband Glenn (who is legally blind and lives with diabetes and heart issues), and a caregiver to her adult son, who also has significant health needs. She even helped her daughter Kayla through her battle with cancer. Colleen has always been the backbone of her family — strong, caring, and selfless.
Now, she needs our help.
At this time, Colleen does not have medical or life insurance, and the hospital’s social workers are currently working on options. Meanwhile, the financial strain on her family is growing quickly.
How your donation can help:
Transportation to and from the hospital and future appointments
Home modifications and equipment to help Colleen with mobility
Support for meals and daily living expenses for the family
Relief from the overwhelming financial pressure during this already painful time
If you're able to donate — even just a dollar — we are deeply grateful. If you can’t, please share this post and help us spread the word.
Most importantly, please keep Colleen and her family in your thoughts and prayers. She has shown up for so many of us over the years — now it’s our turn to be there for her.
