We are raising funds for my stepson, Colin Berry, who was suddenly diagnosed with leukemia after experiencing some odd symptoms. Treatment starts today, and the next month will be incredibly intense for him and for all of us who love him. His treatments will continue for 2-3 years after. 

This diagnosis has turned Colin’s world upside down. He is missing swimming, the start of his junior year, and the beginning of his junior firefighter program while he faces treatment. It is also having an impact on his siblings, who will need support as our family navigates everything ahead. As a family, we are doing everything we can to be by his side, and that also means missing work during a time when the costs ahead are already overwhelming.

Donations will help us cover the very real expenses that come with this fight, including medical bills, travel costs, medications, recovery expenses, continued treatment, and support for Colin’s siblings as they walk through this with him. Every contribution will help ease some of the financial pressure so we can stay focused on supporting Colin through the difficult weeks ahead.
