Support Colin Miller's Film "Between Us"

Hello!

My name is Colin Miller and I am the Writer and Director of the Coming-of-Age short film “Between Us”. We are looking to raise funds for our production which starts filming in late November.

I was born with Achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism, which has led me down a life filled with unique challenges. Growing up, I struggled with social anxiety not only because of my size, but the people I chose to surround myself with. Often toxic individuals, who I considered to be close friends. This is one of the many reasons I wrote this next film.

“Between Us” follows Sam, an anxious high school student with dwarfism, who finds himself in a love triangle between his manipulative best friend (Matt) and the girl of his dreams (Michelle). Their friendship is tested once they both discover their shared feelings and attend a party she’s throwing. In a bittersweet climax, Sam finally finds the true connection he’s been looking for from an unexpected place.

This film is a very personal story to me. Often, this isn’t enough. Making a movie often requires large amounts of resources, time, and money. Any donation you can make can help me and my crew tell this story in the best possible way we can. Whether it’s getting special equipment, helping securing locations, props, food, you name it.
