On Saturday, October 3rd, Colin Gooch lost his fiancée, best friend, and the mother of his daughter, Veronica Pearson, after a sudden illness. Veronica spent nearly five days in the ICU before she passed, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply. She was strong, successful, intelligent, kind, and funny, and above all, a wonderful mother to Genevieve. Caring supporters are organizing this fundraiser for Colin and for Genevieve as they face the heartbreak of losing Veronica and begin navigating life without her.

In addition to this devastating loss, Colin is now facing the realities of raising Genevieve on his own. Veronica’s mother is paying the funeral. Hospital bills from the ICU belong to Veronica’s estate, not to Colin. This fund is not for those charges.
