Help support Coleton’s fight against cancer and stand with him as he continues his brave journey.

Hello, my name is Sue Simpson. On behalf of my best friend and her family I have created this GoFundMe to help elevate the financial burden during her son's battle with cancer.

At just 19 years old, Coleton was standing on the edge of his future. He had been accepted into the U.S. Air Force, ready to follow in his dad’s footsteps and serve his country. But before he could take that first step, cancer came crashing in and changed everything.

Coleton was diagnosed with T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. His fight began with a 13cm tumor in his chest that nearly took his life during a biopsy complication. He spent six days in a coma on life support, enduring the most aggressive chemotherapy while his body clung to survival.

After 2.5 years of treatment and a bone marrow transplant, life slowly began to stabilize. But just as hope was returning, Coleton relapsed with another large tumor pressing on his heart. His family searched the globe for the right CAR-T therapy, and by some miracle, one of the most promising clinical trials was just five hours away in Rome. Coleton was accepted and began treatment, offering his best chance at lasting remission.

This journey has required sacrifices beyond measure. Because of his fragile immune system and the nature of the trial, Coleton and his mom must remain in Rome for months at a time, while his dad and sister live in Vicenza. The family is stretched between two homes, bearing the full cost of housing, travel, and daily expenses on top of the emotional toll of treatment.

While insurance has helped cover much of his medical care, it does not cover everything. The hospital has encouraged the family to apply for an Italian Sanitary Card, but approval is uncertain due to their U.S. military status. In the meantime, the costs continue to rise as Coleton faces the very real possibility of another bone marrow transplant in Rome.

Through it all, Coleton has shown incredible resilience. Even in the darkest moments, he finds ways to smile, joke, and remind his family that he has so much more life to live and all he wants is the chance to live it. His strength is nothing short of inspiring, and now he needs our support to keep moving forward.

Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward supporting Coleton and his family as they continue this fight — covering housing, travel, and care needs so they can focus on what matters most: helping Coleton heal.

Whether through donations, prayer, or other forms of support, your heartfelt intentions to help Coleton and his family are greatly appreciated.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with Coleton.
