Support Cole’s Heart Surgery

Cole is a Dallas Firefighter/Paramedic, a husband, a father, and founder of the Last Ladder Foundation, helping First Responders and Mental Health.

Cole’s life changed in the blink of an eye last week after he went to his primary care doctor for a persistent cough. During this appointment, the doctor found that he had an irregular heart beat and sent him for further testing. Things escalated very quickly, and after meeting with specialists from Baylor’s Cardiac Center, he was diagnosed with heart failure. Three of his heart valves are malfunctioning and his heart function is rapidly deteriorating.

He is currently awaiting open heart surgery at Baylor Dallas Cardiac Center, with the possibility of needing a heart transplant.

Cole has a long road ahead of him. After his surgeries, he will be in the ICU and recovery floors for weeks before he heads home and then onto physical/cardiac therapies. If you are able to, it would be a major blessing for any contribution to help aid in his medical expenses and unexpected expenses related to his recovery.
