Hello friends and family,

On July 11th, Colby suffered a serious heart attack caused by a blood clot that blocked blood flow to the lower part of his heart. He is now home and recovering, but he and his family have a long road ahead.

Colby is only 28 years old and the sole provider for his wife and four children. Because of the physical demands of his job in construction, he's unable to return to work during his recovery. Unfortunately, the family did not have health insurance at the time of the heart attack and do not qualify for a special enrollment period.

They are now facing mounting medical bills from the hospitalization, ongoing prescriptions, follow-up care with a cardiologist, and the temporary loss of income while Colby recovers.
