On August 31, my nephew, Cohl Greene, was in a serious accident while driving home from his job as a train conductor with CSX. He suffered a broken T11 vertebra and was transferred from Fisher Titus to Metro Hospital, which has an excellent spinal unit.

Cohl underwent major surgery to fuse five vertebrae (T10–L3), and while the procedure went well, his recovery is long and difficult. He is currently in Metro’s rehab center and is expected to remain there until October.

During this time, Cohl is unable to work, and his dad Ryan has also missed work in order to help support him through this journey. The family is now facing mounting medical expenses as well as the daily travel costs of being at the hospital to support Cohl.

We are asking for help to ease the financial burden so Cohl can focus on healing and regaining his strength. Any donation, big or small, will go directly toward medical bills, travel, and recovery costs.
