Our sweet Cohen is just 6 months old and has already spent most of his life in the hospital. He was born with a nonfunctional liver, which has caused serious and ongoing health complications. Despite everything he’s been through — endless labs, testing, and now relying on a permanent feeding tube until successful liver transplant— he remains the happiest, bravest little boy. But he shouldn’t have to spend his life this way.

Cohen urgently needs a living donor to survive.

Many people don’t realize that the liver is the only organ that can regenerate. This means a healthy individual can donate a portion of their liver, which will grow inside Cohen and become fully functional — and the donor’s liver will regenerate back to normal as well.

We are desperately searching for a very special person who may be willing to learn more about becoming a donor. Anyone in good health can begin the screening process to see if they qualify. We know this is a big ask, but it could quite literally save Cohen’s life and give him the chance to grow up healthy, happy, and out of the hospital where he belongs.
