Hi, my name is Ross Cotton and I am starting this fundraiser for my good friend and roommate, Cody Drouin. Cody just found out he needs to go in for hernia surgery. Unfortunately, this will be his second hernia surgery due to a different tear in his abdomen. He is in a great deal of pain and can barely do his job now, though he does the best he can.

The recovery time for this kind of surgery is 5 to 6 weeks. He will not be able to work at all during this time, so he will not be able to pay his portion of the rent, utility bills, groceries, and daily necessities.

On top of Cody's medical situation, we also need funds for his car that is in dire need of repair. Getting the car repaired during the time he doesn't need it for work will be a great help.
