Help Cody After a Devastating Electrical Accident

We’re asking all of our prayer warriors and generous hearts to come together for Cody Leggett. He is a devoted father and an invaluable friend to many, whose presence and support significantly impact everyone around him.

On August 6, 2025, Cody was involved in a horrific electrical accident at work. While on the job, he shoulder-bumped a live wire carrying 13,500 volts of electricity. By the grace of God alone, Cody is still alive and was even coherent after the accident — a true miracle. He was rushed to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL, where he’s currently at.

Cody has sustained burns to 45% of his body. Right now, things are crucial in determining how deep the damage goes and how much of his skin can be preserved at the second-degree burn level. We’re believing for total healing — that his body will begin to recover and that his medical team will be able to support him where he needs it most.

Cody has a beautiful little boy who turns 1 in just five months, and we are standing in faith that he will be home, healthy, and outside of a hospital to celebrate that day.
