Cody was in a serious dirt bike accident while riding in Knolls.

He suffered multiple broken vertebrae, many broken ribs, a partially collapsed lung, and a massive bruise across his back. He was flown by LifeFlight to the University of Utah Hospital. After extensive testing, the doctors determined that—thankfully—he does not need immediate surgery, but he faces a long, difficult road of recovery in a brace, with months of rehab and the possibility of surgery later.
