Support Cody's Family After Devastating Fire

Hi friends! My mother and father-in-law endured the worst thing ever on Friday, July 12. Their basement caught on fire while they were outside mowing the yard. My husband Cody, their son, went to go inside to visit their dog and realized the basement was beaming red and some light grey smoke was coming up from the basement. It took him a second to realize the basement was on fire. He ran out to tell his parents their house was on fire. He came back over and went back inside to find the dog and finally found him after searching on the ground in pitch black smoke. The dog was found and Cody saved him. Thankfully everyone is ok and no one was inside.

They have lost everything and won’t be in their home for a long time while the whole house and basement is gutted. They are going to have to repurchase everything they lost. If anyone can please help and share this to help them out. Something so unfortunate and something that you don’t ever think would happen to you, and it can. We are all so thankful they are all ok and this was caught sooner than later. If Cody wouldn’t have gone inside to see their dog, they would have never known it was on fire until it was too late.
