Support Cody's Emergency Brain Surgery and Medical Bills

Update 6/11/25
I am pleased to share that Cody remains on the path to recovery. He still has to take antibiotics intravenously 3x a day via a tube in his arm leading to his heart. He also has weekly MRIs, PT and frequent doctor checkups.
Taking care of Cody's needs has been almost a full time job for Nate, which is tough as a single father who's a solo electrician. Nate wakes up at 5:30am every day to administer the intravenous antibiotics. He comes home from 2-3pm to do the same and then again administers them at 11pm to 12am. Plus there are all the doctors appointments.
Nate missed around a month of work and really has only been able to work part time since Cody's initial brain surgery. He could still use any monetary support you are willing to give. Paying for medical as well as household bills remains a challenge.

Update 4/22/25
Cody came home on 4/12 after being in the hospital over 12 days. He seemed to be recovering but then took a turn for the worse. The abscess in his brain had grown even larger than it was originally. On Saturday 4/19 he had to take another flight for life to Denver and have another brain surgery. We hope there will be no further complications. Cody for now is recovering but likely will need to stay at Children's Hospital through this week.
Between medical bills and Nate being unable to work for several weeks, he needs all the help he can get. I have raised the donation amount to $50,000 which still won't come close to cover all the expenses. Again, any monetary support you can give is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I'm a friend of Nate and his soon-to-be 15-year-old son, Cody. I met them when I moved to Durango a little over a year ago.
While I don't know a lot of his friends and family, I do know that
Nate is always the first person to offer help to a friend or loved one, but he's the last person who will ever ask for it, so I'm asking for him! If you can give any financial assistance, no matter how big or small to help with his son's medical bills, I know it would be such a huge help and mean so much to him! Cody had to be flown to Denver for emergency brain surgery after a sinus infection spread into his brain. He will remain in the hospital in Denver for up to a week. Medical bills for this are going to be really expensive. Thank you for whatever you can give.
