My fiancé Cody and I have recently experienced an unexpected and life-changing event. A burn barrel exploded in Cody’s face due to someone tampering with it, and the aftermath has been devastating for us both. Cody suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns across his face, chest, and down his right arm. Since the accident, we have been in and out of hospitals and making frequent visits to the burn unit. The emotional and physical toll has been immense, and we have barely had a moment to rest or process everything that’s happened.

Cody was the main provider for our household, and with him unable to work for at least a month, we are facing a significant financial strain. The costs of medical supplies, medications, and ongoing treatments are adding up quickly. Every day brings new challenges, and the uncertainty about Cody’s recovery and our financial future has been overwhelming. We are doing our best to stay strong, but it’s been incredibly difficult to manage everything on our own.
