Support Cody Wisler & Dexter's Journey to Healing

We're reaching out to ask for support for my brother, Cody Wisler, as he cares for his son, Dexter, who was recently diagnosed with Hirschsprung Disease. Dexter, who will turn 15 on February 6, has faced lifelong challenges with his bowels, and his recent diagnosis has set him on a long and difficult path toward recovery.

Children's Mercy in Kansas City has been providing excellent care, but the frequent trips from Eudora to Kansas City, the meals away from home, and the time off work are taking a toll on Cody. He's been balancing everything while staying by Dexter's side and ensuring his younger son, Jackson (6 years old), is cared for at home. Their grandma, Terri, has been taking turns at the hospital and helping care for Jackson during this difficult time.

Cody has also received financial and emotional support from our dad, Michael Wisler, and his wife, Casey, from Florida. Their help has been invaluable, but the strain grows as medical needs and household expenses build up. Cody will also need help with bills and, eventually, more medical and nutritional supplies as Dexter's recovery progresses.

Keirsten and I hope to raise funds to help ease some of this burden so Cody can focus on being there for Dexter without the added stress of financial strain. Dexter likely has more time in the hospital as they continue working on his nutrition, followed by major surgery soon.

The past weeks have felt like a whirlwind, with each new step more overwhelming than the last. Through it all, Dexter has shown incredible strength, and Cody has been a constant source of love and support for both his boys.
