My name is Rachel; however, the person I am highlighting and raising money for is my friend Cody Bowman. Cody was diagnosed with bladder cancer this month after having concerning symptoms throughout the year.

To sum up a little bit about Cody—she is a strong and incredibly passionate person. Being born with spina bifida has never slowed her down. Despite having to adapt and overcome hardships, she maintains a steadfastly optimistic outlook on life. She is the first person I have driven with who does not use her feet to push the gas and brake pedals. I can say with confidence she drives with her hands better than most people in Florida haha!

Cody really needs people who are able to surround her with hope and love, as well as financial help. She works two jobs; however, her life-saving cystectomy surgery is going to put her out of work for some time. To be able to pay her bills and help with her medical expenses, anything helps.
