Support Cody Hoben-Pelissier's Recovery Journey
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
We ask for your support for Cody Hoben-Pelissier, a remarkable high school senior whose life was tragically altered in an instant.
On May 28th, Cody took his late-father's car out for a drive and was struck by an intoxicated driver, leaving him with severe, life-threatening injuries. He remains in the hospital on life support with a long and uncertain recovery journey ahead.
Stories about Cody's kindness, strength, and passions abound. His school bus driver, Joel, described him as "such a good kid" and “that he always had on a different, cool cologne.”
Cody was set to graduate with honors this year and had big dreams of becoming a mechanic—a passion that showed in his care and diligence getting his later-father's prized car running again recently. He was excited to begin building his future and making a difference in the world around him.
His family is now facing unimaginable challenges. In addition to the emotional toll, the financial burden is immense. Your donations will help support:
- Rehabilitation and recovery services Cody will need in the months ahead
- Transportation for family, especially his grandmother, who is doing everything she can to be close to him during this critical time
- Any medical and rehabilitative bills not covered by insurance
Cody’s journey ahead is long but we can come together as a community. Every share and donation brings care to his family and moves them one step closer to healing.
Please consider giving whatever you can, and help us spread the word. Let's rally as a Richmond community and support this bright young man and his family.
