Support My Husband, Cody Brewer, on His Road to Recovery
Hi, my name is Alexis Brewer, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart to ask for help for my husband, Cody Brewer.
On January 15, 2026, our lives changed in a matter of seconds. Cody was driving when a power pole fell and power lines came down across the road. He accidentally ran over the lines in the van. When he got out to check the damage, another pole unexpectedly came crashing down on top of him.
What started as an ordinary day turned into a nightmare.
Cody was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries. He is currently facing:
• Two brain bleeds
• A punctured lung
• Broken collarbones
• Broken ribs
• Broken arms
• A broken foot
he underwent surgery on his arm,He has a long road ahead filled with a lot of appointments, and lots of physical therapy, that we are gonna have to pay out of pocket for until we get everything sorted out. He is also is going to have another surgery soon to fix his collar bone and shoulder.
Seeing the person you love most go through something like this is heartbreaking. Cody is strong, but the recovery he is facing will be painful and exhausting. Along with the physical injuries, we are now facing overwhelming medical bills and everyday expenses while he is unable to work and me being unable to work while I care for him.
Cody has always been the kind of man who helps others without hesitation. He works hard, loves his family deeply, and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Now, he is the one who needs support.
I created this GoFundMe to help cover medical costs, surgeries, therapy, and the basic living expenses we will struggle with during his recovery. Any amount—big or small—will make a difference for our family. If you aren’t able to donate, simply sharing this page means more than you know.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your prayers, kindness, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
