Support Cody and Bryanna's Healing Journey

UPDATE!

Last night I got off work a little early and decided to go to Gainesville to get some one on one time with Bryanna. We ended up having a little slumber party(Even though I did all the talking & she kept staring at me like I’m crazy) it’s cool though.

Our girl is a freaking troop yall! Her recovery is going so well the last few days. I know we could still have some ups and downs in this recovery process, but where we are now I can finally breathe & I feel a thousand pounds lighter.

Both her and Cody got their Tracheostomy Tube yesterday so no more uncomfortable tubes in their mouth.

I know a lot of you are wanting so many updates but both families have decided to limit certain health updates because it was getting out of control with all of the rumors that we kept hearing and we are already going through so much and to hear some of these rumors were so upsetting and so ridiculous.

To clarify a few, no bay bay’s face is not completely burned off. Like who tf even started that? Why would you even say that. No Cody’s hand is not just bones. Yall see where I’m getting at? Like WHYYY!?

They both are doing good as they can be.

Bryanna did get moved to another building but only because the health concern that they were worried about at the time needed a specific specialist that wasn’t at the burn center.

The best way I can explain this is, would you want a OBGYN to do brain surgery on you? Or would you rather a doctor who studied the brain do brain surgery on you? OBVIOUSLY the BRAIN SPECIALIST! ( this is just a reference, no she didn’t need a OBGYN or a Brain Surgeon) I’m just explaining the concept.

We still have months of recovery, I can’t give you a time frame of how long they will be in the hospital. But it will be months.

We appreciate every single one of you that has showed so much support for not just them but for the boys & the family.

Bryanna and Cody have an army of prayer warriors and I believe that we wouldn’t be where we are today without all of your prayers. God listened to us & he knew this life wasn’t ready to be without them.

On Friday March 28th, Cody and Bryanna were 2 of the many people who were involved in an explosion at Soggy Bottom Mud Park.

We know that so many of you have so many questions and that you are all concerned and wanting answers.

They are both in Gainesville at UF Health Burn Center and are being treated by some incredible doctors and nurses.

Cody is currently sedated & on a ventilator. The doctors are saying he is at a 70% body burn. He will need multiple surgeries and will have a long recovery period.

Bryanna is currently sedated and on a ventilator as well but her vitals are well enough that they are slowly going to reduce the sedation to see if she can keep her vitals normal on her own. She also will be needing surgery but not as many as Cody.

They are going to need all the support and prayers they can get at this time. Which I know the huge impact Cody and Bryanna have spread along with so many this should be no problem.

The 4 boys were not injured. They are safe with family members and we are all joining together to keep them together and keep their life normal as possible while Cody & Bryanna are healing.

Also if donating through GoFund isn’t something you can do. The 4 boys will be home tomorrow night(3/30), if you could stop by and drop off food, drinks, snacks, household necessities (toilet paper, body wash) that would REALLY help. The immediate family have come together to make this Go Fund me account for not just them but to help with the boys now and when they come home. We know that some of you are not able to help financially but a simple prayer will be greatly appreciated.
