A 27 year old Christ follower that was recently married in May 2023. He and his wife Hope met working for a non-profit ministry organization. They have also led mission teams into the remote mountainous areas of Honduras to spread the word. 

Codi’s 2024 Devastating News

Recently Codi received the shocking news he had a large brain tumor between the size of an orange and grapefruit after a visit to the ER/ICU. Thankfully, while much of the tumor was removed, the days ahead will still be filled with hardship. 

Brain surgery, doctor visits and treatments moving forward will be an overwhelming financial burden. Additionally, the care Codi needs will require the family to miss required work.

Our goal is to lighten the load and stress of the financial burdens that come with fighting cancer. 

Family Prayer and Request for Help 

Codi has a long road ahead of him. His faith is strong despite the findings and news that was received in September. 

Codi, Hope, his parents, his sister and brother-in-law (and Codi’s soon to arrive baby nephew) ask for your continued prayers. Prayer from around the world have already been lifted and the family has felt and seen the blessings of them. 

Update 9/24/24

Followup Doctors appointment

The tumor removed was 5cmx5cm but the over all affected area with tumor and swelling was 1/4 of his brain in THE FRONTAL LOBE. The placement of the tumor was best case scenario.

The doctor removed 90% plus of the tumor during surgery.

No pathology report yet however, treatment will be within the next two weeks. Codi will begin Chemo and radiation at the same time. He will have radiation daily (5 days a week) for 6 weeks. Chemo is in pill form and will be taken at home.

The prayer request: This brain cancer still appears to be aggressive. They are currently giving it a Grade 3 or 4 and potentially a scary name. Would you continue praying for the results to be less than a 3 or 4 and for the complete healing over Codi?
