Help Me Give Coda a Peaceful Goodbye

My name is Robert Reid.

My dog Coda has been by my side since I was 13. She was there for me through the death of my father to pancreatic cancer when I was 23. My mother was never in the picture.

I’m 24 now, and just as my life was beginning to look up after college, Coda was diagnosed with lymphoma. She has been the one constant light in a sea of darkness. She’s been with me through alcoholism, depression, the loss of my family, my closest friends, and my girlfriend. Every chapter of my life, she’s been there.

Now I’m trying to give her the most peaceful and comfortable final days possible. But the cost of chemo, care, and eventually euthanasia is more than I can manage alone.
