If you were to ask me if I saw myself at almost 40 years old helping rats finds homes, I’d probablyyyyyy say no. BUT here we are helping rats finds homes ❤️ am i
surprised ? Absolutely not !
So with that being said , I’m reaching out for help for Coconuts eye care.
Coconut is a foster rat who came into my care during an urgent rescue situation where fosterers and adopters were needed. He was one of nearly 500 domesticated rats in a home that needed immediate intervention. As these animals were caught and treated, each one deserved a second chance at life and love. As with any animal I come across , I am committed to giving them the best possible future.
Unfortunately, Coconut suffered an injury/illness that left his eye damaged beyond repair. He is scheduled for a veterinary procedure on June 8th to have his eye enucleated, and in the meantime, he is being treated with antibiotics. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly towards Coconut's vet bill, aftercare, and any future medical needs.
I am working closely with Strong Island Rescue and the wonderful veterinary team at Animal General in East Norwhich to ensure Coconut receives the best care possible.
No donation is too small, and please let’s keep in mind that with out these rescues and volunteers… so many animals would not have a second chance at life. These wonderful, compassionate people would not be able to do what they are doing without donations.
Thank you for giving him—and so many rescued animals—a second chance.
