Coco sends her appreciation
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out today on behalf of my sweet girl, Coco Chanel. Recently, Coco was diagnosed with cancer—a mast cell tumor that’s rapidly growing on her paw. The only option to give her a fighting chance is to amputate her entire right arm, followed by chemo just two weeks later.
Given the grade of her tumor, we need to act fast. This is why I’ve started this GoFundMe—because the upfront costs are simply too much for me to cover in such a short amount of time. (Hoping for surgery within the next 2 weeks) Anyone who knows me knows I’m not one to ever ask for help, but this has been the hardest thing I’ve faced, and I’m desperate to give Coco the best chance possible.
Coco is more than just my dog—she’s my best friend, my joy, and my comfort. She makes every single day brighter, and I’m doing everything I can to make sure she’s comfortable and has many more days ahead to make me, and everyone she meets, smile.
Any amount you can give will go a long way, and we would be so deeply grateful. Even if you can’t donate, simply sharing this with anyone who can relate or anyone who truly loves pets and finds it in their hearts to help would mean the world to us.
We will be looking to use the funds for her surgery, and then ongoing chemo treatments needed 2 weeks following surgery. We will also be doing additional testing to see if it has spread further or if we are in the clear after chemo rounds. The estimated surgery cost is currently $8,619.75 - $9,619.75. We do have pet insurance and will be able to get some of the funds back but if we can reach our $9k goal this will help us stay on top of everything and make sure we can make ends meet during this time as we are about to be in a vicious cycle of vet billing needs and personal needs.
There will be photo updates for you all to show you how Coco is doing during this time and how your efforts are helping us.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Tayler & Coco Chanel
