Ricardo Calderon, known to many as “Cobra,” has been a proud and dedicated member of the LAMA Manassas chapter for years. As a Road Captain, he’s ridden thousands of miles with the club, from long-distance journeys to Sturgis and Colorado, to countless local events. But more than just a rider, Ricardo is family. He’s always the first to open his home, cook for the club, organize barbecues, and support every event and fundraiser. His generosity and selflessness have made a lasting impact on everyone around him.

Recently, while returning from an anniversary event in Annapolis and fulfilling his duties as Road Captain, Ricardo was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. The road had been recently repaired but not properly leveled, causing him to lose control on a curve and strike a guardrail. The crash left him with head trauma, facial injuries, and fractures to his left arm and leg. He was airlifted to the hospital and has already undergone surgery on his leg, with more procedures ahead to reconstruct his arm. His recovery will be long and challenging, and he will be unable to work for an extended period.

Ricardo is a devoted father of three, including a young child, and his family now faces not only emotional hardship but also significant financial strain.
